Born in New York, Michael C. Flaxman relocated to South Florida at an early age. Based upon his prior academic success, Mr. Flaxman was awarded a full scholarship to the University of Florida.Mr. Flaxman completed his undergraduate degree with high honors in just three years, when he obtained his B.S.B.A in Finance in 1998. Mr. Flaxman then continued his education at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, graduating in 2002.In law school, Mr. Flaxman was awarded the Cali Award (top grade in the class) for Property Law, Secured Transactions, and Lawyering Process.
In 2015, Michael C. Flaxman joined the prestigious firm of Jimmerson Hansen, P.C. (now Jimmerson Law Firm, P.C.) where he represented high-net worth individuals in complex divorce and custody matters.In 2018, Mr. Flaxman continued his work with high-net worth individuals as a co-founder of Leavitt & Flaxman, LLC.In 2021, Michael C. Flaxman and Shawn M. Goldstein co-founded Goldstein Flaxman, PLLC.
